Remember that post in which I wildly and excitedly declared my enthusiasm for driving? You were also supposed to remember another post after that in which I crossly un-declared my enthusiasm for driving but I never got around to making it. The novelty wore off, and I’m guessing you totally saw that coming lmao.
Anyway, I went for my driving test today and it went something like this: Got into the car, adjusted the seat, the mirror, the seatbelt, gave the signal, moved forward, turned right and promptly overlapped the double white line. *facepalm* Ideally, he would’ve commended me instead for my speedy reflexes in righting the car immediately within the next two seconds, but what should happen never happens. *giant sadface*
Oh well, better luck the next time, yes?
P.S. The inspector was nice (and looked nice too lololwtf).
I just had my first driving lesson!! And it was AWESOME SAUCE IN A BUBBLING POT YAAYYY. I love turning and signaling and changing gears and stepping on the gas and stopping, but moving after stopping not so much because I’m like, wait what do I release first what what oops, and the car goes chug-a-chug-a-chug and I’m like, whoooaa, and my instructor’s like, aaahhh nonono, but it was all still awesome!
We drove around a housing area for a couple of times and then he took me out to the main road and I got a little nervous, but I think I was also kind of beaming at everything moving because it was all just so wheeee-worthy lmao. And driving manual really isn’t all that hard, I don’t know why everyone’s making such a big deal about it. Never believed it was, and it totally wasn’t, ha! /End of report.
