Sitting in the strawberry swing

Back from Cameron Highlands! It was colder than I remembered it was (NICE) but there were strong winds and rain so that might be why? Lots of pretty strawberries, flowers, and vegetables; the usual.

We visited the tea plantations too (we didn’t the last time we were there). Boh’s was way up the hill and the road was narrow and windy and incredibly looong, and whenever a bit of extra space appeared there was someone turning their car around lmao. At one point, there was even a huge boulder lying by the side of the road but my dad persevered and we got to the top. And then the wind started to blow, like, BLOW, and the people sitting in the tea shop outside the factory were all, “!!!!!”, and things that weren’t supposed to be flapping started flapping, and my dad was all, “what if it rains and there’s a landslide and we get trapped up here?? QUICK, LET’S GO!” So my mom grabbed two boxes of tea, dad paid, and we ran. Later, my mom was like, “we were such wimps” lmao.

Oh, and I ate lots of crap: fried mushrooms, corn, strawberry ice-cream, strawberry tarts, strawberry scones, strawberries, strawberry chocolate…

I find it kind of funny that I was listening to Daughtry the first time we went to Cameron in 2007, and then I was listening to their second album on our way down two years later.

Third driving lesson this Wednesday! We did the braking on the slope and parallel parking the last time, and I think I managed the slope fairly well but was quite lousy at the parallel, but I’ve thought long and hard about it and I think I got it so aha, Wednesday faster come *rubs hands*.

(My grandfather’s also okay, relatively, and I’m glad.)
